If you follow my blog...or any of my social media channels....you'll know I not only love college football but I also love Dr Pepper. Combine the 2? Greatest thing of my life. Dr Pepper is an official sponsor of the College Football Playoff and the National Championship Trophy is presented by Dr Pepper, so it's only natural that you enjoy them together. College football kicks off this Saturday, so here's a fun table you can put together and party with all your friends & family.
I went to Walmart to grab some of my favorite flavors like Dr Pepper TEN & Dr Pepper Cherry and obviously original Dr Pepper. I also grab a few fun snacks like pretzel bites, popcorn & Cheez-its.
I laid down black & white striped paper and layered green moss over it. I used a small wood pallet as the backdrop and threw on some pom-poms, a football & colored pennants to represent some of the teams playing in the games.
To make Saturdays even more fun, I created 2 different sheets. One you can list all the games being played & how they played last week, as a quick reference.
The other you can have everyone predict the winners & losers of each game being played. I'm super competitive so I'm really excited for this one!
You could win $20,000 in college tuition from Dr Pepper. Be sure to check out http://cbi.as/mhrt for more information on how you can #WinTuition! What would you/your child do with that tuition money?
Great ideas! Thanks #client
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I read your post! We're having a big group over for one of Monday's game and there's people going for both teams. I LOVE the big wooden signage. And how did you write touchdown on the football? Paint pen? I also love the competition idea. I'm going to whip something up this weekend and maybe have a giveaway. That could be fun. Thanks for the ideas!
ReplyDeleteYes, I used a paint pen! I also took off the printed writing by using nail polish remover to get a plain surface. Thanks for your comment!
DeleteI love this! The pom poms and the moss are the perfect touches! How did you get the "go fight win" to stay on the wood pallet? What's it made from? I want to recreate it at my next football party! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Brooke! I just cut out my own writing with an x-acto knife & scissors on black cardstock. Then I just attached with a little bit of hot glue!
DeleteSo love the sign! Thanks for linking up at the Monday Funday Party.
