Hot Pink Ampersand

This little piece of wall art is the perfect way to brighten up any room & it's easier than you think!

Start with your frame of choice, mine was a thrift store frame I painted white. 

Using freezer paper or vinyl, design and cut your stencil.

Carefully paint filling in your stencil, mine only took one coat. Then remove & let dry.

Without cutting (yet), hot glue a few inches at a time to the back of the frame. After completely attached, trim remaining burlap. Having the extra attached while glueing make it easier to stretch onto the frame.

And you're done! I hung mine up with some Scotch wall hanging velcro attached on the back.

I Proudly Introduce...Own Impression

So 2 weekends ago I was sitting on the beach in San Diego and my wonderful sister-in-law and we were talking about the talents we have, developing talents and the pros & cons of turning talents into work.  A few days later I was home and suddenly making products and designing a logo for an etsy shop! Halloween Decorations

Here's a look at my Halloween decorations this year...and I'm not gonna lie, my favorite part might just be the big eyes behind the picture frame in the gallery wall.  It seriously cracks me up.

Who's already got their Halloween decorations out?!  Christmas is by far my favorite holiday, but when it comes to amount of decorations I own, Halloween comes in 2nd place.  

These signs were inspired by an image I saw on Pinterest, that sadly wasn't linked.  But I do know they were for a Silhouette projects, but all you need for this version is this: free printable.

Be sure to print them as an 11x17 so they're long enough, cut and attach. BOOM. Instant festive-ness. That's a word, right? It is now.
